What is SocGol?
SocGol is the World's first full length course designed to play a soccer-golf type of game.  The game is scored like golf, using a par system.  Soccer kicking skills are used to move a soccer ball through a golf like course including hazards such as water, grass and rock hazards, amongst many others.

Why SocGol?
If you have a beach and a soccer ball you play beach soccer but if you do not have cheap available sandy land you play SocGol.  The game encourages the development of proper kicking skills and fitness.  You can play the game as a group for round play and tournaments or as an individual for personal development

The Course
Many people have designed make shift soccer-golf type games but no one has formalized the game with a course designed specifically for this purpose.
The World's first SocGol course is located at Kleskun Springs, on approximately 25 scenic acres.  The course is played out over a mile and one half layout.
The course similar to golf has two portions, the First Half and the Second Half, similar to soccer.  A soccer side has 11 players and each half of Socgol has 11 gols.  Each half is Par 45, as each half in soccer is 45 minutes in length, for a total of Par 90.
Each half has three Par 3's, four Par 4's and four Par 5's.  The shortest hole is 60 yards in length and the longest is a Par 5 180 yard, yet to be named monster.

How to Play
There is different methods of alternating play, the most common is once the initial round of play is determined, the player further from the gol shoots first.
Each attempt at the ball is counted as a shot.  The gol is completed once the ball strike's a the flag pole staked in the ground.  See more go to > Rules & Tips.
