ABOUT PLAY ME COACH
Play Me Coach is a Water Polo Academy in Cape Town that was established in March 2022. The Academy is designed to give athletes every opportunity to grow and reach their goals. We educate young water polo players of all athletic levels. Our main focus is building on and developing the fundamentals. Our sessions are structured around the fundamental skills required to improve on overall playing ability

Ryan has 21 years of coaching experience. He has played and coached national water polo in South Africa. He has been fortunate enough to travel worldwide and interact with some of the best coaches. This has given him many opportunities to learn from the best water polo programs and share this knowledge with the players he coaches.

Grant hs also mentored young professionals in education as well as a variety of rugby players.

Riddle
Dylan has been coaching for 8 years. He has coached at a 1st team level for both boys and girls schools. He has coached an u18 Currie Cup boys team and an u19 boys team at SA Schools in 2022. Dylan's passion and dedication to coaching is what makes him stand out.

Gabie is a warm and inspiring coach who adds incredible knowledge and insight. She holds a certificate in holistic development coaching. Gabie
has coached boys’ water polo at Bishops Preparatory and currently at Rondebosch Preparatory.
Gabie played water polo throughout her high school career and represented Western Province.

Samuel
Cameron has been coaching waterpolo for 8 years starting off at Bishops preparatory school. He played polo provincially throughout high school and currently is the technical assistant at Wynberg Boys High School and is the co-coach of UCT 1st team waterpolo club
Goal Keeper Coach
Declin
Lesch
Declin has been playing waterpolo since the age of 9 and played for the Wynberg Boys High School’s first team as the Goal Keeper. He has represented Western Province as well as Northern Tigers at IPT as well as Currie Cup. He now plays polo for the UCT first side. His love and passion for the sport has made him want to continue playing and coaching outside of the school environment.
